Campaign Issues

You do not need to be a lawyer, a politician, a judge, have a degree, or any other title to be able to serve the people by being elected to congress. You only need to be a concerned citizen that loves GOD and cares about all American citizens. You only need the ability to listen and convey the voice of the American people. It is time to bring the message from  the great state of Alabama to Washington D.C. If you elect me, I promise to bring a strong conservitive voice to our nations capitol.  This is where I stand on some of the major issues:

  • Small government
  • Cut spending and lower taxes
  • Abide by and protect the Constitution
  • Border Security and Immigration
  • Education
  • Healthcare
  • Public Safety

Small government

This issue is the heart of all the other issues. The federal government controls too much of our lives. Washington D.C. cannot make decision that should be made at the state and local level. I believe in personal responsibility. With a small federal government comes more personal responsibility. What this means is you are responsible for your own actions.  I believe in giving everyone the opportunity to become successful and reach for their dreams.  If elected, I promise to vote and give back the rights to Alabama and its people.

Cut spending and lowering taxes

Everyone knows about our trillions of dollars in debt. Common sense tells us that we need to stop spending is the first step to lowering our debt. It makes me sick to hear the current politicians say we need to find a way to pay for tax cuts. They act like it is their money and are entitled to it. The real fact is that it is our money not the federal government’s. We do not need to find a way to pay for tax cuts. The real truth is to cut spending and lower taxes, if you want to get control of the debt. If you give people back more of their money then they will spend more, this will begin to boost the economy and bring back more jobs with more competitive and increased wages. If elected, I will make you the promise to not vote for more spending and will vote to give back more tax money to you the people. I will not take bribes or money for my votes that will hurt the American people.

Abide by and protect the Constitution

The constitution is one of the most important documents of the United States of America. It is the most important document relating to the federal government. The constitution does not restrict the people from its government, but it protects the people from an overbearing and tyrannical government. The fathers of our country drafted the constitution to keep the government from taking away freedoms and liberties endowed to us, the citizens. I vowed to support and defend the constitution from all enemies foreign and domestic. I will continue to vow that, if elected, to abide by, support, and defend the Constitution of the United States.

Border Security and Immigration

Border security has been a huge topic/agenda item of President Trump, and American citizens alike. It is important that the country we love have strong border security. This will help keep our beautiful nation secure. It will also help with the nation’s drug problem. A large amount of drugs come into this country from the countries that are south of us. A wall alone will not completely solve the drug problem; however it will help slow down the amount of illegal drugs that come into this country.  I do welcome immigrants that seek to become American citizens from all nations. We are in need of an immigration policy overhaul, to ease and to speed up the long process of become an American citizen. If elected, I will vote for stronger border security, new immigration policies, and will help to BUILD THAT WALL!!!

This is a topic that is best left up to state and local governments. They should have control of education in their states, mainly due to the ease of implementing change. You cannot regulate or mandate educational policies by the federal government, because everyone does not learn the same way nor do all teachers teach the same way. Our educators are a very important to the country. They are the ones that are under paid, but do excellent work in helping to shaping the young minds that will be our replacements. Education should not be controlled by a politician in D.C. that thinks, they know what is best for our kids and teachers. I also think that we should be as vocal about trade or vocational schools as we do college.  If elected, I will not vote for policies that will take away the educational rights from the state and local governments.

This has been a huge topic concerning the American people ever since Obama graced us with the garbage we know as Obamacare. Insurance companies have got richer while Americans are penalized for not having healthcare and cannot afford healthcare premiums. It is a losing battle for the American people and a win for the insurance companies. For seven years our politicians campaigned on the repealing and replacement of Obamacare. trying to get voted back into office knowing Obama would veto the bill. Now that we have a president who cares for this country and its' people, that will sign repeal and replace we just can't seem to get it done. This tells me it is time for a change of career politicians that have been in DC for a while. There are solutions to the healthcare problem like: health care cooperatives, health savings accounts, and allowing citizens to buy healthcare across state lines. It is time for a change of scenery in Washington D.C. If you elect me, I promise to vote to repeal and replace Obamacare totally. Even if it takes us doing it a little at a time to get it done, then I would rather vote yes to a 10 percent repeal then none at all.

Public Safety

I have served 13+ years in public safety as a firefighter. I have first-hand knowledge of struggles that the fire, police, and medical field encounter. The biggest problems faced by many are obtaining funds for much needed upgrades. Being elected to congress will give me the ability to help the public safety community by making it easier to obtain grants for much needed equipment and training/education. If you elect me, we can make all of our communities safer. Allowing those that protect us every day the ability to do the job better trained and equipped.

I would love to hear your comments, suggestions, concerns on these or any issues.

Lets help Make America Great Again, with your vote we can get things turned around again for our children and grandchildren for many years to come.

God bless each and everyone of you and God bless America.
